Laura is a native of Fort Lauderdale, giving her a unique insider’s perspective into this flourishing region. She attended St. Anthony Catholic School and Cardinal Gibbons Catholic High School prior to pursuing her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she was a member of the tennis team. She still plays tennis and enjoys yoga and boating. Laura and her husband have two children, a daughter who is a third-grade teacher at St. Mark’s Episcopal School in Fort Lauderdale and a son who is a first-year law student at Stetson University.
